Survival rates for small and medium-sized businesses in Canada show that 51 % survive for five years (Source: Industry Canada). Roughly 90% of our E-Series graduates are still in business.

Taking time to work ON your business rather than IN your business can be a game changer. This is why Forum for Women Entrepreneurs (FWE) founded E-Series (‘E’ for Entrepreneur).

Past notable FWE speakers have included Rossann Williams of Starbucks and top Canadian Entrepreneur Kelsey Ramsden, Judy Brooks of Blo Blow Dry Bar, Terry McBride of Nettwerk and YYoga, Christine Day, of Lululemon and Luvo, and Christine Magee of Sleep Country Canada.

What is E-Series?
At its core, E-Series is a three-day, immersive educational program for growth-oriented women entrepreneurs. Industry leaders who are highly experienced and successful in business speak on subjects that are key to success, including HR, sales, marketing and more. FWE’s E-Series program has a history of success; E-Series grads experience, on average, annualized growth rates of 40% and create an average of 10 new jobs within 3 years of participating.

Announced speakers this year include leaders from top businesses including Twitter Canada, Kids & Company, Lusomé and Bargains Group. We’re also excited to announce that the E-Series closing celebration will feature Michele Romanow, of Dragons’ Den, who will share her experiences as an entrepreneur.

Who is E-Series for?
Women entrepreneurs who are leading businesses at the start up, high growth or mature stage. Every entrepreneur attending E-Series is serious about taking their business to the next level. Past alumni have included Annabel St. John of PaperQueen, Nancy Hill of Blue Ruby and Stacy Irvine of Totum Life Science.
