Tell us about your business:

Started 6 years ago in my kitchen after I quit my high-rolling Bay street job. I literally gave financial advice in exchanged for bartered goods in the beginning to start my company on a boot strap.

6 years later, we have offices in Toronto, a staff, and recently launched Canada’s first financial planning online school. It’s been a WILD RIDE. But, I’m obsessed with entrepreneurship. I was the kid who was literally trying to scale my lemonade stand. Learn more on New School of Finance

Shannon’s Best Advice:

Be authentic to who you are and don’t give up. It’s going to be hard work, but if you really believe in what you’re doing you will thrive. If your business thrives, your life will thrive. People forget this about entrepreneurship. Your business IS your life. Don’t get caught up in what other people are doing. Focus on your own journey and do it your way. Have faith!
