Chala Dincoy Leadership, Sales and Business Conference for Women in 2014 Canada

Chala DincoyTell us about your business

For twenty years, I helped market big brands like Pepsi, Smirnoff, Playtex and BIC and I learned a thing or two to help small business owners market themselves. For the past few years, I’ve been working with businesses to help them get themselves and their marketing more focused and to reduce frustration so that they can have better results

What is your greatest inspiration?

Without passion we are lost. The trick is to rediscover it since we all had it when we were babies. My creativity comes out of nowhere – like those moments when I’m tossing and turning or on the long drive down the 407 in a snowstorm.

How are you hoping to connect with conference attendees?

When I meet with other small business owners at events, I leave my sales hat at home. I am there to serve and connect. If I can give you even one tip to get new clients easier, my job is done!

coachtacticslogoWhat advice would you give conference attendees?

1. Make sure that your ideal clients are there. If your target clients are not at this conference, then be very clear about what you’re hoping to get out of it. Maybe it’s self motivation, maybe it’s to find joint venture partners, maybe it’s to learn something.

2. Give, give and give value to everyone you meet without expecting anything in return

3. Have fun. You’ve set aside this time to develop yourself and your business so indulge in it and stop worrying so much that you’re not working IN the business today.

Do you have a special offer or incentive for conference attendees that you would like us to share?

I’d love to offer a free strategy session to motivated business owners who have been in business for a few years and are frustrated by their rate of growth. In the session, we 1. look at why they’re not growing faster 2. brainstorm some ideas and 3. talk about what’s working or not working in their marketing.
