Stepping into your future

Stepping into your future

Remember that dream you had 10 years ago?  The one that stirred your heart with passion and excited you to no end?  The one that had you hopping out of bed in the morning, determined to move towards that goal as quickly as you could?  You could feel the love and energy popping out of your chest as you did whatever it took to make the dream a reality.  You dedicated your time, your money, your essence to bringing what you could see in your mind and heart to life.

Act Fearless

Sure, you had fears, but you acted as though you were fearless.  You had lives to change and weren’t going to let your fears–big as they may have seemed at the time–stop you.  You spoke to anyone who would listen about your passion.  You let all your friends and acquaintances know what you were doing so that they could help you share your message.  You spent your money to help spread the word.  You learned new skills to make you more competent at your work.  You were driven, and even some of the people who may have thought you were crazy had to admire your focus and determination.

Overcoming the Insurmountable

You look back and know that you did absolutely everything you could to bring that dream to reality.  There were challenges along the way and moments when you had to change course, but, in retrospect, they helped make the dream even sweeter and more powerful.  Now you see how those moments that could have felt like insurmountable obstacles helped you become the stronger, even more determined and deeply passionate individual you are right now.

You Kept Going

You didn’t stop when it got tough.  No, instead you got creative and even more resourceful.

You didn’t throw it all away when people questioned and criticized you.  Instead, you felt compassionate towards them, praying that one day they would be able to feel as alive as you did working to make the world a better place.

You kept trying even when the money didn’t always come in.  Instead, you had faith that what you were doing mattered, that so many people could benefit from what you–and only you–were created to do.

You sacrificed; you took a deep breath and continued on.  You found positive, growing people to support you.  You lived with an appreciation and gratitude for everything you had and all the people who showered you with their love.

Not quite feeling that way about the way you pursued your dream ten years ago?  Are you thinking that maybe you could have been a little more focused and persistent?  A little more driven?

That future can begin TODAY.
