How does your business help entrepreneurs and professional women?

I have used social media to grow my blog and business over the last three years and feel other women would benefit from the practical tips and tools I can share. Most of the women entrepreneurs I know are very heart-centric, that is what makes social media the perfect place for women to promote & grow their biz, and this is a message I’d like to share.

What are you passionate about in your business and what steps are you taking to make it profitable?

I’m most passionate about the conversations and communities we are creating through social media. Often we work with small to medium sized businesses that have smaller budgets than large corporations, but social media gives them the same platform to compete on – that’s exciting! To make my business profitable, I’ve been working with a consultant that has encouraged me to raise my rates and ask for what I’m worth, and I’ve been delegating to grow my business and capacity to accept more work.

My favourite business tool is Hootsuite, without it I would be lost! I manage multiple accounts through it and schedule key messages that can’t be missed.

What is your favourite business book?

So many to choose from! I’m such a bookworm and go through 1-2 books a week, but some of my top choices are; The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari by Robin Sharma, Lean In by Sheryl Sandberg, and Strengthsfinder 2.0 by Tom Rath
