As a business owner I am always strapped for time so when I find easy and quick ways to market my business I am thrilled to share them!
When you start a business you need to make graphics for newsletters and collaborate with your team. If you went to a graphic designer each week it would cost a fortune! You also need to put together proposals, press releases and financial sales data professionally. It usually needs to be done on a super tight deadline so the
Microsoft 365 Suite has become my go to work tools that are always open.
Making Graphics with Powerpoint
Take for example the graphic I made above. This was done in Powerpoint (took me 2 minutes flat to make). The colour of my logo was done automatically with a choice of a bunch of different colours. The background board title colour layer is transparent which makes it look extra fancy.Powerpoint is also where I make my sales decks to share with perspective clients.
Client Webinar Traning Live and Recorded with Lync
Don’t want to spend money on in-person training? Use webinars to connect with customers. I use Lync – which takes only minutes to set up straight from Outlook Calendar! My clients love it as they don’t have to leave home to connect with me. We can see each other and instant chat too! When you are time strapped virtual events are awesome.
Excel Rules
Want to auto post tweets? Hootsuite allows me to use Excel to batch a bunch of tweets over the month. The CRM system allows me to mass upload contacts.
Sharing Files and Chatting about Projects
When I need to share my files – easy – I just drop them into Yammer for my team (it automatically e-mails my team members). I save so much time with tools and my work always looks well branded and professional.
