Jaclyn Klein is a dynamic marketing and communications professional, with an entrepreneurial spirit and a focus on technology startups.
I’m currently the Community Manager at Uniiverse, an online event ticketing startup based in Toronto, where I wear many hats and dabble in market research, marketing strategy, business development, lead generation, messaging and positioning, media relations, inbound marketing, social media, content marketing, and product testing.
Jaclyn joined Uniiverse before its launch in February 2012, and continues to enjoy contributing to the company’s growth.
Tell us about your business
Uniiverse is the “Shopify for events.” We combine all of the features needed to successfully sell event tickets online and manage event registration with ease. We go beyond the basic needs of event organizers, providing the most advanced social marketing tools so they can increase event awareness and sell more tickets.
Uniiverse is a self-serve website and enables any event organizer to create event pages and sell tickets online with ease.
Uniiverse is a Toronto-based startup and launched in February 2012.
How are you hoping to connect with conference attendees?
We are hoping to connect with any event planners / event organizers at the conference. We’d love to discuss the event industry and how events help small businesses grow.
What advice would you give conference attendees?
Tweet often at the event and engage with other attendees via the event hashtag – this is a great way to make connections with people you may not have run into face-to-face yet.
