Nancy Harris, Sr. Vice President and General Manager, Canada.
Nancy Harris is senior vice president and general manager, Canada, for Sage North America. As general manager for the Canadian market, Nancy is responsible for building the Sage brand and growing market share in Canada. Her responsibilities include driving the strategy and day-to-day operations for the small business portfolio, including Sage 50—Canadian Edition and Sage One—Canadian Edition.
Ms. Harris has more than 28 years of experience working in various capacities and leadership roles in the software industry. She started her career at Accenture, a global management consulting company, working in world headquarters in a marketing capacity. She then spent eight years at BMC Software in a number of leadership roles overseeing product marketing, product management, development, quality assurance and technical support. Since her time at BMC, Ms. Harris has pursued entrepreneurial ventures at various startup software companies and most recently was Chief Operating Officer at ESO Solutions, a private, SaaS-based software solutions company serving the emergency management services market.
Nancy is passionate about volunteering her time with non-profit organizations. She was a long-time board member of Any Baby Can, a non-profit organization that improves the lives of children by strengthening them and their families through education, therapy and family support services. In addition, Nancy actively gives back to her community through a variety of volunteer activities and by helping develop future business leaders through mentoring and various public speaking engagements.
