How does your talk at our conference help entrepreneurs and professional women?

In the new world of marketing, content is king – and we’re all scrambling to find content to feed our social media channels, blogs and websites. In this session, attendees will learn how to find and share content easily – without the need to start from scratch. You’ll also learn how to organize it neatly into an editorial calendar to create a year’s worth of posts ready for use.

What are you passionate about in your business and what steps are you taking to make it profitable?

It’s a severely overused term but as a former journalist, authenticity in business is my biggest priority. Being authentic, allows me to service my customers based on what they need – not what I want to sell. If I’m truly listening, I’ll be able to answer those needs while improving my product offering. It’s truly a win/win situation.

What do you hope conference attendees will take away from hearing you speak at our conference?

I hope conference attendees will leave my session with a clearer view on content generation and how to simplify the process. I hope that they’ll feel empowered and understand that this project is big and never-ending but that a clean, organized approach will make it easier to manage.

What is your favourite business tool

My business tools are simple – Word and Excel and Outlook. With those three things I can organize any project and stay on top of deadlines. Of course, I consider coffee a tool as well – without that, nothing gets done…
