Small Biz Cafe articleAs many of you know, I’ve decided to do the Joe’s Team triathlon again this summer. It’s for a great cause (you can sponsor me here if you like :) , and it helps me to keep up with my training throughout the rest of the year. As I was running this morning, I was feeling a lot of pain, and I was tired from a night out on the town last night with DH and friends. When I’m not feeling good on a training run, I try to get into a ‘zone’ where I think about something other than how crappy I’m feeling!

I started to think about a conversation I had earlier in the week with a friend who was having a tough day. Like many of us, she is trying to grow her business quickly, and probably taking on more than she can handle without going completely insane, or even worse, hit the burnout wall too early. I started to think about the similarities between her state and some of my training runs.
