Marketing & Production Assistant

Job Description Summary

Toronto based start-up seeking a driven, marketing and production assistant for part-time, work from co-working space and home position.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating trade shows and events
  • Assists in production of advertising, marketing brochures, sales kits, direct mails or other promotional materials
  • Assisting with generating leads
  • Social Media and email marketing campaigns
  • Updating and maintaining website and blog
  • Assisting with photography shoots and video demos
  • Assisting with production of deliveries
  • Weekend work required sometimes

Experience/Qualifications Required:

  • Must be available to start ASAP
  • Drivers licence is required (car will be provided for events)
  • Background in marketing/communications
  • Experience with social media marketing
  • Ability to work alone and with a team
  • Proactive, driven and can work in a start-up environment
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and do new things
  • Good organizational skills and time management
  • Excellent computer skills
