Diana Nazareth is a lifestyle family and child photographer, who also specializes in maternity, newborn, and headshot photography.
Her modern approach to photographing families is evident in the natural, warm, intimate, evocative, and expressive quality of her work. A photojournalist by training, she is intuitively adept at capturing the quick and candid moments that unfold during a family photo session. As a result, her sessions are often described as real, relaxed, fun, and creative. Her ability to make kids feel comfortable and playful in front of her lens, is rooted in her calm and nurturing disposition and the experience that comes from raising two young and active boys of her own.
She strongly believes that photography transcends simply bringing a family together to have their picture taken, it also provides them an opportunity to document what makes them unique as a family. She takes great pride in crafting a family’s ‘visual story’ that they will treasure for years to come.
In 2010, Diana Nazareth joined creative forces with fellow lifestyle photographer, Kelly MacDonald, to offer exclusive wedding packages designed for couples interested in documentary-style photography for their special day. Their modern, non-intrusive approach to wedding photography includes working primarily with natural and available light to create personal, stunning, and artistic wedding imagery.
Diana Nazareth is a proud member of the National Association of Professional Child Photographers (NAPCP). She is the official photographer for the Children’s Art Theatre School (CATS DRAMA), a professional drama school for students ages 3 to 18 years, and an active member of Helping Hearts, an organization that provides free photography sessions for families with children who suffer from a life-altering illness or disability. In 2009, she was featured in the Toronto Sun, and interviewed on CBC’s “Metro Morning”, for her participation in Toronto’s first Help Portrait event.
