A2me creative director is an enthusiastic fashion designer.
My fashion philosophy is “Transferring African values into western contemporary dressing”
African fashion heritage is a rich, creative, and versatile art characterized with bright colors and prints. This symbolic art permits one to create endless amazing designs.
Fashion conceptualizes a sense of place and self, hence it becomes challenging when people unavoidably migrate from their cultural heritage to a new environment. Memoirs become a succor for strength and survival! That is the inspiration behind my brand name “A2ME Fashion”
In 2010, my family and I relocated from Nigeria to Canada in search of a better life. This move was quite challenging because becoming an immigrant at a certain age in life inveigles you into an unanticipated psychological, emotional and cultural shift. At first, everything seemed bleak and hopeless except my desire to become a professional fashion designer. The perseverance and hard work, few years later, earned me a diploma in Fashion Apparel Technology from Olds College, Alberta, Canada.
My strong business and creative fashion skills made A2ME brand a niche synonymous with creating unique collections for sophisticated ladies; and casuals for men of class. Apart from creating fashionable and comfortable wears, this brand bridges the emotional fashion gap for some group of customers who desire to feel their heritage in their fashion irrespective of their location. A2ME brand achieves this by creating some distinctive designs of extra ordinary allure with custom printed fabrics. Every design created by this brand it’s born out of passion, respect and appreciation for the beauty that evolves from fashion. This great brand believes in the quote from the renowned fashion icon, C. Chanel which states that “Fashion has two purposes: comfort and love. Beauty comes when fashion succeeds” C. Chanel.
