Lately I’ve been seeing a few people looking for life/career coaches, which I love seeing!

As a reminder, coaching helps you move forward as it looks at the present and the future.

As you are looking for a coach, a few points of consideration:

1. Interview a few to see who will be a fit. It’s important that the communication style works for you

2. Be ready to make changes. A coach is not responsible for your journey and they won’t fix you. They are there asking the right questions to uncover what you know. They are there to provide perspective and insight.

3. Be ready to invest in yourself and commit. It is a money commitment and a time commitment. The exercises after the session is when the real transformation happens.

4. Be okay with having to disappoint loved ones. You will change and you will be different. People close to you will tell you that you don’t need a coach or you don’t need to go after what you want – they have an idea of you and don’t want to lose you because they love you. Reassure them of your connection but do what’s best for you.

5. Be ready to be uncomfortable. It’s going to be tough to see aspects about yourself that it’s best not to. Yet, after the internal storm will be this greater sense of peace, freedom, peace and happiness that you haven’t felt before.

6. Know you are deserving and worthy of having the life you want and be ready to accept it. Yes, you are that amazing.
