How does your business help entrepreneurs and professional women?
I am a successful realtor who has been in the business for 26 years and I have seen the ups and downs of the business and have survived the down times and have worked really hard to build a great reputation in my field. I have always known that I cannot control market conditions but I can control how I react and deal with the market conditions. If you treat people how you would want to be treated you cannot go wrong. Come from the place of giving and people can sense it that you work for them and what is best for them not you. Simple principles have been around for a long time and they still work till this day. Every President of a country has to go out and ask for votes. So don’t be shy in asking.
What are you passionate about in your business and what steps are you taking to make it profitable?
I love real estate. I know it comes through when I speak to people. My energy attracts people to me and my knowledge of the business keeps them with me. I have a team and I am building the team with the same principles that I practice every day. You have to prospect every day and the day you stop prospecting that is the day you stop new business coming to you. You have to keep feeding your pipe line.
We have a brand and working to make it known through social media and networking events through community involvement.
What do you hope conference attendees will take away from hearing you speak at our conference?
I hope that the attendee will get the message to be involved in your community. People like to deal with people they know and respect. Create a brand that is not just business based but community based. Just remember we are now a GLOBAL community not just local community. But every thing starts with grass roots. Take baby steps before running and never give up. Be like a child who never gives up does not matter how many times they fall and we don’t tell the child to stop trying to walk because they are falling. So have the same determination for success and don’t think about falling or failing.
Be fearless.
What is your favourite business tool
Networking through community involvement. This gives you a chance to talk to any one in any position because you are not contacting them for yourself but for some one else. Be proud of what you are doing. My motto is for Charity I have no shame.
