SUMMARY
Responsible to grow share of market in Western Canada using a combination of fine wine knowledge and luxury commercial sales skills to position and sell the Gallo super premium portfolio. Develop influential relationships with market wine experts, On-Premise/Fine Wine Retail owners and market sommelier community of key On-Premise facilities. Establish priorities that achieve commercial objectives of Western Region Super Premium Portfolio.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Grows distribution, revenue and profit of Super Premium portfolio in line with established targets. Key measures will include: Volume, Revenue, Gross Margin, Account Contribution, Contra/Fixed promotional budgets and distribution.
- Consults with Western Region Sales Director to develop sales strategy, annual plans for key Super Premium accounts across region and identifies target customers. Once plans are approved, accepts accountability to deliver results in key measures per the above.
- Executes Sales Strategy with targeted customers and achieves commercial results.
- Leads regional execution through focused sales strategies and efforts.
- Builds effective relationships and network with key Fine Wine Distributors/Digital Retailers/Wine Clubs and Sommelier networks within designated markets.
- Works with Sales Director to develop positive relationships and KPI’s with Winery/International Demand Planning.
- Partners with Project Managers to manage Super Premium inventory.
- Contributes AOP preparation for Western Canada Fine Wine Sales.
- Conducts field visits across all western markets working with the sales team to drive luxury and super premium distribution and education.
- Establishes objectives and priorities, ensuring they support the region’s business plans.
- Promotes positive working relationships across the region.
- Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of sales management experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- CSW or WSET III or Certified Sommelier.
- Minimum and thorough understanding and expert knowledge of Premium/Super Premium Wine Category.
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
