Under general supervision, provides diversified administrative and coordination assignments in support of the sales organization by administering programs, projects, and processes specific to department needs.
We are open to accept applicants based in Ontario or Quebec.
Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Sales Planning and Insights.
This position does not have direct reports.
Quebec Support Responsibilities
Responsible for product submission, calls for tender and program applications.
Supports sales efforts of private import. Manages and maintains private import orders and sales platform through KORK/Luxvins.
Develops, creates and/or contributes to the product catalogue updates and various sell-sheets.
Other Sales Responsibilities
Assists with business reviews presentations and decks for internal and external customers.
Assists with maintaining promotional calendars.
Develops quarterly sales mailings with sales managers.
Provides general sales assistance to the sales team as required, including applications, promotional calendar maintenance, etc.
Provides data analysis and reporting to customers, including interpreting and disseminating results to customers and helping identify business opportunities.
Works with Provincial Managers to understand their needs, creates and makes reports and presentations as needed.
Supports analytic projects from inception through completion; prioritizes and manages multiple projects.
Champions the adopting of new technologies to better perform job functions and to support the customer base.
Assists with updating tracking reports.
Monitors/Validates liquor board raw data and trends and identifies errors in the data and works with IT and boards’ contacts to resolve.
Responsible for new item entries in SAMS.
Shares the support of Atlantic markets with call for tender applications.
Sales Insights / Planning Responsibilities
Responsible for OneSource database data cleaning: identifies the product attributes to clean.
Key areas that needs to be monitored: Item Description, Brand Name, Agents, Flavors, Color Description, Bottle Size, and Segments.
Responsible for report automations: market share reports (work with IT), Competitive Pricing Reports, and Distribution Reports.
Category and Consumer Insights:works with cross functional teams in Modesto and Canada marketing teams to gather market/consumer trends and communicate out on a monthly basis.
Supports marketing with ad-hoc requests for category analysis (quarterly brand review decks, new item tracking, etc.)
Product Cross Reference: Research the correct provincial product numbers that need to be cross referenced to our internal Gallo Base SKU/Planning Material.
Updates and distributes the monthly market shar report to International Finance.
Works with the marketing team to cross reference agency products to get historical data into Web SMIS and validate the data.
Responsible for validating the monthly depletion sales reports.
Assists with managing the consignment channel responsibilities as needed (such as ordering products, arranging shipments, invoicing customers).
Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations.

High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
OR 4 years’ sales, customer service, or administrative support experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
Computer skill requirements: MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
Skilled in proactively solving problems and communicating effectively.
Has experience composing and formatting correspondence, business proposals and presentations.
Bi-lingual (English and French)
Solid understanding of relational databases
Fundamentals of MS Access
Advanced Excel skills, such as pivot tables and macros (VBA)
Advanced MS Office skills in MS Word and MS PowerPoint
Experience in the alcohol beverage industry and with the SAQ’s platforms Promo-Punch and SAQ-B2B is an asset
Strong analytical skills and experience preparing sales reports and presentations
Good interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders
Demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving
Resourceful team-player, with the ability to be effective independently
Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
Experience working with all levels of management
Experience working independently and exercising confidentiality and sound judgment in making decisions.
1 – 2 years’ experience composing and formatting correspondence, business proposals and presentations.
Fluent in French (written/verbal communication)
