Mentoring – How it works and why you need it

Whether you’re an entrepreneur, professional, considering re-entering the workforce or student this informative and interactive workshop will help you understand the value of entering into a mentoring relationship – and give you the tools needed to do it. By the end of this workshop you will be able to:

  • Assess how and when to become a mentor/mentee
     
  • Find mentor programs and determine which is best suited to your learning style
     
  • Determine how to select and qualify your own mentor

  • Recognize when to coach and when to mentor
     
  • Discuss reverse mentoring and other current trends in mentoring
     
  • Follow best practice tips in mentoring
