Tell us about your business

Crrumb is a Toronto-based digital creative agency. Our areas of expertise include web design, UI/UX design, and illustration. We specialize in working with small businesses in the health and wellness industry. At Crrumb, we view design as a holistic practice. Every client, every project, and every process is unique and complex, yet interconnected. We love utilizing smart, clean design to make simple ideas captivating.

Stefanie was born and raised in the Greater Toronto Area and holds a degree in Image Arts from Ryerson University. Stefanie has worked with numerous businesses, non-profit organizations, and national publications, and has over 7 years of experience in the design and production industry. Stefanie’s empathetic nature and natural ability to connect with people also led her to a part-time faculty position at Centennial College, where she taught graphic design for two semesters. She has been designing websites since the late 1990s and still considers it one of her favourite passions. She also loves kombucha, vegan baked goods, learning flamenco and volunteering at the Toronto Vegetarian Food Bank.

Biography

Meegan is a multi-passionate entrepreneur who craves design, art and all-things marketing.

She is a traditional print designer by trade who has crossed over to digital. From start-ups needing branding guidance, to businesses seeking full-blown marketing support, Meegan provides print and online design solutions to get things done!

How can your experience or your business help fellow conference attendees?

I am passionate about helping you discover your brand, communicate it effectively and grow your business to your ideal audience (a.k.a. paying peeps!).

My mission is to empower you with a brand you are proud of ON and OFF line while relieving the stress of trying to figure it all out–so you can get back to business with a smile!

What do you hope to take away from the conference?

Connection: I’m looking forward to meeting fresh, new faces and like-minded souls full of ideas!

What do you think is our greatest social problem today? Any suggestions to solve it?

EQUALITY and EMPOWERMENT.
Everyone deserves the right to learn and be heard.

Solutions:
Starts with our children and community… breaking stereotypes, teaching life skills… creating a foundation to empower them as a person with purpose.

What is the most inspiring book you have read?

Many books on my shelf that I’m looking forward to reading…

What are you passionate about in your business and what steps are you taking to make it profitable?

I love design!! I add more value than your typical graphic designer and charge more because I can translate that design into dollars for my clients.

What is your favourite business tool

Adobe Creative Suite. I’m a designer and can’t live without InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. It’s what I do.

I just discovered Nimble.com for tracking sales leads and managing relationship. It’s a simple and reasonably priced tool that integrates with all the social media platforms, as well as your email. You can track activity and see a person’s latest posts are all in one place. Assign tasks for follow up and tracking deals. Very cool.

What is your favourite business book?

My latest is Grow – How Ideals Power Growth and Profit at the World’s Greatest Companies

because it sites research that confirms that Marketing with Meaning can grow your business brand’s bottom line.
